Secret Alliance
It’s good, all 3 mains had noticeable flaws, the pace wasn’t slow so it was exiting to read. The development of sian and yujin were well written
- sian at first i neither liked not hated her, only a little annoyed because of her 1 glaring flaw: her naivety and how she sometimes messes stuff up cause she’s flustered but that’s completely normal just me ranting. Her downfall hit me hard, like HARD. It started when she asked yuri out, i could almost feel how trapped she was by yul in her tiny apartment, their flashbacks made me feel even worse. Glad she got through her phobia and found someone suitable.
- yujin when i first saw him i knew he was too good to be true, but then again his only flaw is sleeping around with isn’t even a real flaw he just craved love. It was nice to see him stop caring about girls and start worrying for sian more, the first kiss between them was uber cute.
- chae yul was the character i cared abt the most because he was a certified villain but i could see how he became that way and how painful it must’ve been for him till the end. yul was stubborn as heck and I honestly thought his insanity was a bit DISGUSTING, but he still changed in the end. he just had so much conflict and i felt so fucking sorry for him, seeing him cut himself and grovel to sian until the panel that shows him grown at the end made me cry. I kept thinking how they could’ve been happy together if the circumstances were different. Legit cried from the moment yul cut himself till author’s note
Overall, 10/10 would recommend, this is a gem
