not a medical student, but sleepwalkers and even sleep sexing can talk. depends on the level of sleep walking. Like people who have sleep sex seem to only talk about sex. While most people who sleep walk/sleep talk don't seem to make much sense. Then there are rare cases which the people while sleepwalking and talking can be confused for a person who is awake. This tends to be a chronic thing and often leads to trouble. Reason I say that is because I am a sleepwalker/sleeptalker. And I have answered phones, answered the door, cooked food, and many other things that people don't realize I am really asleep during until I tell them I have no memory of the events.

Thanks a lot for sharing! I have been confused by this webtoon since I have no prior experience with sleepwalkers/talkers who respond/interact during the situation. This gives me a new perspective on how to approach this webtoon.

No problem. there is more about sleepwalker/talkers. As it stands in the webtoon as it is, I personally can't tell what kind of sleep disorder he has. As they are all different and rarely overlap. But I am leaning strongly to the type I am which is chronic. Where people can't tell if I am awake or not. And with him I think the whole sex thing is because he wants affection but is too shy to do that when awake. That is another thing with sleepwalker/sleeptalkers, we tend to be more bold than our wake self.
