Honestly, this chapter is pretty important. We as readers knew Richard was a little scuffed in the head but it’s not until this moment that we see how truly psychotic he is. He’s not just a yandere “I’ll do anything for you” character. It’s deeper than that for him. He wouldn’t burn the world to the ground just because Courtney asked him to. No, he’s been dying to see everything go up in flames. Courtney’s approval would just be the icing on the cake.
This story was so cute and I enjoyed seeing the difference between what the boys thought the other’s facial expressions looked like and what they thought their own facial expressions looked like.
