Tbh I'm sick of MCs like this. They have no personality other than having a special blessed power of sort. And yet guys fawn over them. I hated it more because she is leading on the duke, making him think that she likes him and not making any effort to say that she made a mistake. Like gurl, make it make sense, the 'reason' she does not admit her mistake is that she might be killed. Like what? Does he look that irrational and dumb to you? It honestly feels like she is taking advantage of him. If not, she airhead as sht. Sorry not sorry. Just my opinion.

Yes, exactly. Imagine thinking that someone likes you and you being exceptionally caring towards them in return only to realize that it's all not true. Very sad and unbecoming of her character tbh.
I mean, yes, but also no. I feel really bad for the duke since his sincere feelings for her are real, and now since she always hesitates to tell the duke her mistake, the relationship's gotten too deep to fix and I feel like the ml would be sad after he finds out you know? It's not nice to be playing with someone's else's feelings.
While reading chapter two I can't help but wonder why the sultan spared her. In my point of view, perhaps a large part of the reason is because she is extremely beautiful. And it saddens me because I can't help but think if an unattractive woman is to take her place I don't think that the sultan would spare the girl or take extreme interest. Just my 2 cents.

I like the story but the translations are poorly written. It makes the story difficult to read and understand. Phasing and Plot is 10/10 tho.
Just be happy that it's not that fucking s2manga and that xi is actually trying their best to translate us this manhwa.

Y'all I've been reading this before I had an anime adaptation, I don't hate the anime but I'm also not a fan of it. I guess I had a lot of expectations for the anime because of how much I enjoyed the manga. *asta is too much for me in the anime, tho i understand that he is just like so*
