Ffs I’m begging at this point. Why are most of these stories just throwing unending trauma at the main characters without break and calling it a plot? Eight chapters in and all we got was her being thrown in one bad situation after another and all they gave us in return was her having a “strong will”. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

At this point, bring your hand back past your shoulder and smack the would out of them. We can figure out the consequences later. Especially the knights. Whether they like it or not, she is the daughter of the household they serve and holds a title above them. So you mean to tell me that up until chapter 37 in the raws, we got to see some of the back story. And said back story is of course the older one getting abused because he was thought to be an illegitimate child. In turn, he became disgusted with the MC. But what’s sending me is that when the MC stopped bothering him THEN he decided to start tormenting MC. And it took him shoving the poor boy down the stairs and the MC waking up to try to save the brother from their mother beating his ass for him to LITERALLY FLIP A SWITCH AND BECOME OBSESSED???????
