Ok, I got a serious question cause it’s so weird to me. Why is it that there are so many manhwas that when a movie theater is mentioned, like 90% of the time an MC will say that they’ve never been to a theater, or that their las time st a theater was when were six or something ridiculous like that…like is that supposed to make the experience that more alluring? Is it a plot tactic to add more romantic feel to it? Or is it like super rare for South Koreans to go see a movie??? Like wtf is up with those types of common responses to seeing a movie mentioned in manhwa??!
Like I don’t go to the theaters often, ngl, I can’t remember the last movie I saw in theaters, but…like it’s so FREAKIN WEIRD to say you never went to one and the other party is like…bet. Like…WHAT?
