Elica is annoying, what’s up the these mangas that have good potential with the most annoying female character. I like the idea of him coming into a normal life to live like a normal student yet all because of Elica he’s starting back his old ways. She’s just plain annoying, not as bad as others I’ve seen but still, I wish she’d just mind her business. Most mangas I’ve read similar to this have nosy ass females, can they not keep their nose out of shit? I’m probably going to drop this but it was quite good, I like tweight’s character.
In my opinion, Elica is not especially annoying. Elica was an important character in this manga, Elica brought out character development for the mc and made the story progress. If Elica wasn't here, in my opinion, it would just be straight-up boring, as the mc is already strong, and the concept of the story is not unheard of.
I agree but I never see the authors using a male as the character development role. I personally am not a big fan of romance since I normally don’t like the way authors use it in action mangas. A romance manga is good but the romantic development in a action manga isn’t really my taste. I always love it when I see a male character best friend or something help with the MCs development.
I also agree. Seeing male characters help out with character development is very refreshing. Sometimes authors just add female characters just to use them for a love interest or character development.
really i feel this is just hatred toward a female character in general. i've read a LOT and i really don't like female characters that are annoying, or like you said, butting into the mc's personal life. in my opinion, i really like elica. she had a clear goal and objective, and shes young (emotional, slightly irrational). shes not targeting the mc, or digging into his past. it would be dumb of her not to suspect him, though. i dont really want to see a whole lot of romance if its UNNECESSARY. but i also don't know where the plot is going. he's not on a mission. he doesn't have a grand objective. shes not clingy, or lacking personality and all over the mc. shes actually pretty decent. i also expect the other characters to help with his personality development as well- and if its only her ill probably drop it, but she really isn't bad at all. i like her so far.
First of all, comparing elicia with other female characters in manga with similar genre, she’s clearly different and better than the rest. She’s pulling her weight and like other commenters have said, she’s the one helping the mc to have character development and not in annoying way even.
Although like others have said too that it’d be nice to have other male characters doing her job, this just might be simply because of the initial market that the manga is directed to, in this case most likely boys which results in a lot more female characters and “harem-like” developments.
So if you don’t like female supports, then maybe this kind of mangas is just not directed towards you. It’s not wrong, it’s just everyone have different tastes.
