Hangyum has not cheated on Hajin. In the past they were not dating when he kissed and dated Juri to protect Hajin. In chapter 46-47, Hangyum and Hajin are not together (they broke up in chapter 43) and Hangyum is wasted thinking he is kissing Hajin. Neither time has he cheated on Hajin. Being drunk someone loses all rationally. Hangyum did not even seem interested in that girl.
Hangyum comes off really bad in the Tapas version. He is not that bad in the Korean one. Example is in chapter 43 he is cruel and being a jerk. He is not like that all in the Korean. “Victim card” is not even said. Let’s not see each other again is actually said version whatever cruel line Tapas put. Tapas changed it to where it would sell better but it would do better if they stuck to the original story. The French and the Japanese are sticking better with the Korean story then the English is.
Thinking about it. Could you email me. Please email me where your feelings about Hangyum are coming from. I read the Korean version first and I have a different opinion. I don’t read the Tapas all but once. Actually, I had to stop half way in Tapas’ chapter 49. I have have seen both storylines and I have some experience with the Asian culture. So I would assume you only have read the Tapas version of this story. I am seeking to understand and I think I may make a topic to help people understand Hangyum better. Based on what my dumb mind understood,,, athy has a really powerful magic and she was able to cross through time and dimensions (which means she's the original athy) but idk if she crossed time herself purposely or simply because of her emotions.. As much as I can understand Claude used black magic to forget Athy's mother and in that process he forgot Athy too. In the lovely Princess, athy's mana brings back his forgotten memory. Thus, he felt uncomfortable around athy. Whereas Jeannette kinda ease his headaches but is not solving the problem. For the first timeline in the lovely princess, athy only met Claude after 9 years which by then the magic had be completed, that's why in the first timeline, Claude treated her like shit and didn't particularly liked her. But only kept Jeannette by his side as she eases his pain, that's why there were unfairness between athy and Jeannette treatment but Claude never really loved Jeannette but just used her (quite tragic for Jeannette). Also dark Claude's mana actually released the built in mana of athy's which was too much for her body to handle as her mana is really strong. That's when Claude tried to save her which cause him to lose his memory because athy's mana rewind time type causing him to go back to the time when his black magic was still present. Which resulted in him losing his memory. Correct me if am wrong but this is how much I remembered.
