Also, with what the guy said, the sword must be by her side in order for her to participate. If they go outside of the rules of the "game" it wouldn't be right. It's not just about"cute privilege".

Thinking about it this way, The sword is an added protection given by the king until they can fight on their own. The blonde boy already lost the knight, and he's past the age of 5. That means the rules no longer apply to him. They are placed there to protect those 5yr olds until they can fight for themselves, at least until the sword is lost. Which means you're on your own... Though I wonder what the other rules are... Which would probably get better insight into this whole game of succession.

CP is a piece of work, but he's at least being cautious towards Lesian, questioning her reasons and analysing her behavior, while the ML believes her without questioning despite all the rumors about Lesian. The past Lesian was, after all, a villainess.

It would be very groundbreaking, if Lesian stays single and that her personal maid Leonie becoming stronger + independent.
I saw a glimpse of potentional she tried to help Lesian fight against the red haired bastard.

Believing rumours without proper evidence makes a person an utter jerk. Since blondie is the one who has been with her most often of course he might find it difficult to believe but, for one, that's not exactly the case with the ML and, for two, you're forgetting the reason why the CP agreed to marry her in the first place. His reason was pretty sh!tty.

i mean except the rumors were actually all true. She really was a terrible awful person. of course he didnt know all the backstory as to why she was originally such a bitch but the og was pretty nasty to everyone. So I can kinda understand why he would plan to sacrifice a terrible person for his plan. dosnt make what he did any less shitty but he actually wasn't wrong about who she used to be and the intel he had gathered on her.

I'm not defending CP. Ffs, dude is "In LoVe" with someone who could be Trashta's cousin. I don't trust stupid man like him. But his reaction to Lesian's change is the most realistic among all the potential love interests and I like it.

Btw, the Duke seems to be close to the CP. At least, they seem to work together a lot even before Lesiams transmigration. That being said, how come he didn't meet the previous Lesian? Is this a plot hole???????
