Honestly I get it, it's a dark romance. BUT... I ain't gonna lie.... I'll never forget the guy who died and I'll never stop thinking about how MC would still be happy if he was still alive. Even if ML and MC fall in love eventually.. the dead guy will always be in my mind
I remember absolutely loving this story at the start, the characters had interesting backgrounds, personalities and the plot was there! It had potential! The romance was slow and made actual sense but then after ML distanced himself the story kinda went.. downhill? Like- it all feels so rushed and now the story and characters feel so shallow... I hope the novel is better cause the disappointment I'm feeling rn is so big :(
I read all this in one day so maybe that's why I feel like the pacing is off but.. let's recap. The seme kept harassing the uke and uke rejected him multiple times (that was sexual harassment, period) only to then do a 180 and accept the kisses. That was weird but oh well okay. THEN uke does a 180 AGAIN and goes back to rejecting the seme but suddenly uke DOES A 180 AGAIN AND ACCEPTS IT WILLINGLY. Also the sex scenes were.. weird to say the least, he told him to stop, he couldn't breathe, it hurts, etc and seme didn't even listen, the same way he didn't listen when the uke kept saying he didn't want to be more than friends.
