Mafu found a new love and new happiness, it was never that he was unhappy or that they were just never a good fit. Idk why the rest of my message wasn't in the reply i left in your comment so I'm gonna write it again. I don't hate either of them. I really love yuki and as you said it's not that they were unhappy or anything it's his death that pains me and also there's a specific scene that bugs me. As ppl say that ue is like Yuki's replacement it's not entirely wrong, but as you and the other person ↑ said he moved on and to another lover. For me it's just cause of a specific scene if you remember that mafuyu for a moment looked ue as yuki, from that specific scene i got the feeling that this is why mafuyu started liking ue. Yea he may loved him for real after that but that scene bugs me, and I don't want to offend any ue stans and I don't hate either of them I'm just expressing my opinion......and i express it that way cause i hear a lot of ppl hate either on yuki or either ue with the excuse that mafuyu likes him cause he resembles yuki. I'm sorry that i talked too much

I get what you're saying, from my interpretation, I don't think that creator was trying to make it look like ue was a replacement. The reason Mafu saw Yuki in ue was because just like Yuki, ue is very involved in music and has that same passion for it as Yuki. During the scene, Mafu still believed Yuki's death was his fault and that he didn't deserve another chance at love. So seeing Yuki in ue was early plot Mafu's and the creator's way of telling us that Mafu didn't believe he deserved this new happiness that ue was giving him bc what if he only ended up ruining it like with Yuki, which is certainly not true. but that is the internal struggle that Mafu has and later on learns to overcome it

Honestly I like Ue he is the less problematic haha, but honestly I fall for Yuki... I support him so much, because I know how many people hate him, call him toxic etc... and I will always defend him... and be a mafuyuki shipper... people think that Ue is a replacement to Yuki, because if he will not die , they would stay together... I'm a yuki stan but i hate ugetsu so much I'm sorry, he reminds me of my ex boyfriend. Ok but if we look it as akihiko x haruki he just made a small mistake and haruki said if anything had happened it would have been consensual, now in the akihiko x ugetsu they were both at fault, both toxic for eachother and for they love for music, they weren't meant to be, I and i only speak for myself, i don't like ugetsu cause as i said he reminds me of my ex, yea he may deserves better as akihiko too but i just can't come to like ugetsu I'm sorry

I'm only telling it was consensual cause haruki said it himself, if he didn't say anything then yes it would have been a legit attempt of rape. But as a big fuyoshi who enjoys almost all types or rapes, I'm sure around 60% of the yaoi I've read they had rape and I'm not saying that it's something that i should be proud of but it makes it look like it's an evwryday thing or that it is forgivable. Also something I've noticed is that there are ppl that are mad to akihiko who tried to "rape" haruki, but those ppl will simp for seongho the rapists of painter of the night. I mean where's the logic in that. I'll tell you what's the logic is for them, painter of night is yaoi while given is shounen. That's their excuse.
