I read the comments before reading it and expected it to end with that commentary where he was thinking, ‘did I love him? I don’t know’ and the kid staying in Cali. Now /that/ would’ve sucked-
This one was good though. It felt like breathing again- I held my breath for a good chunk of it lol
He clearly says he wants them to reunite, that much was mutual- technically it was an open-ending but they didn’t give us much room for imagination either (づ￣ ³￣)づ
I agree!! The ending was a real breath of fresh air, we don’t need to know what happens to know they likely had good endings!
That ending would had been better than that shitty ending. Or they could had showed the ml had moved to somewhere else and mc finding out he moved and ran into him again a couple of months or a year later.
