Not sure why many people didn't like the first story as much as I do though. I thought the story was pretty sweet, plus the way the mangaka corresponded the uke's story with his romantic aspect was quite beautiful.
I also liked the first story. The exhibitionism aside (I'm an exhibitionist and it barely registered for me, though that is what others disliked) the premise and delivery of the story was exquisite and the idea of throwing one's self into exhibitionism as a personal sacrifice for their love was perfectly written. There was not a lot of fanfare or time spent going into detail regarding the actual event. Rather it was used as a metaphor for the feelings of vulnerability that many gay men face when they date openly or engage in PDA for the first time. It was inspired. I loved it... regardless of how lost the metaphor was on the typical 15 year old "covert yaoi reader".
did not expect that hahaha!
