not saying current art is not pretty, but damn mid story changing it changed the vibe to me too... i was so used to this dark and somewhat hollow look their faces had, especially jeoh with his dark circles. the story itself felt darker, more mature, now i don't know why, maybe because change of art+surroundings, but i feel like i don't know these characters at all and just opened a random super HD new manhwa ;/
im sure ill get used to it, but currently finding it very difficult to care for the characters as much as i did in previous seasons
I feel exactly the same way. They all look hyper glamorized and it changes the vibe. The characters also seem to have different personalities... I'm not as invested anymore which is unfortunate because I used to love this story :/
you were never invested if all it took was a art change to make you drop it, this happens in so many story’s like you expect the artist to not get better at drawing???
i believe you misread me as i didn't say i dropped it, and absolutely i expect artists to get better, just i think i never experienced this much of a drastic change mood wise too in any of my loved stories that i follow; that's why i am currently feeling off and a bit surprised, but as i said in my post, i am sure i will get used to it as it is only just starting.
