
Poor Isaac looks so betrayed. She knew he would feel this way. Since his “brother” sold him. But I think she also feels like she’s cornered and having no other choice. She could run away with him, but they’d constantly be on the run, and they would have had to make choices that she wouldn’t be able to live with. Believing that these people would at least treat him better than her house had is probably what helped her make this decision. But Isaac still has the mind of a child. He doesn’t see how she’s trying to protect him. He might not understand. She’s willing to be hated by him, if it means he doesn’t have to run/hide anymore. I can respect that. I may not agree with her choice, but I can respect it.
