I really love how painfully sweet this story is and I cry every time I read it BUT Togame's actions right before the end still really upset me! Cutting off all contact without any explanation, even if you fully believe it is what is best for the other person, is NOT OKAY. Especially if you happen to be dating them. Togame wasn't there when Yorozu's mom collapsed or when he was feeling shaken by his aunt. He wasn't there when he started loosing his confidence in taking care of the hotel and his brother at the same time. Or when the fire happened. Or when his grades started dropping. Or when he was so desperate for money he almost did a porno.
Sure, Togame was the one to ultimately put a stop to it and he helped arrange the carousel replacement but the emotional support was not there. The mother eventually got better and the money for the repairs would have come eventually as well. But Togame left his emotionally reserved, inexperienced, sexually confused, easily flustered teenage boyfriend high and dry right as he was opening up WITHOUT A WORD. And don't even get me started on how he handled that confession and subsequent departure. He spends all this time convincing Yorozu that he has a safe place at his side and then turns him away when he really needs it. The stubborn lack of communication on Togame's side is genuinely frustrating to me and I'm going to stop now before I give myself an aneurysm. (╬ಠ益ಠ)
CAN YOU FINISH ONE STORY BEFORE STARTING ANOTHER PLEASE MY HEART CAN'T TAKE IT. It's only one chapter and I'm already invested.
No but seriously I really appreciate all of the hard working translators that keep bringing us these beautifully heart wrenching stories. If you haven't already read the other stories by this author I would highly recommend it.

For a drunk seme that supposedly can't control himself, Takimoto does awfully well at controlling himself. Nibbling Sakuma's hand, letting Sakuma push him down, thoroughly teasing Sakuma without hurting him, and stopping when he says he's scared even though he's obviously feeling it. Takimoto is A+ seme
