so the ml's background and family title make it hard for him to admit his feelings because he was forced into a cold duke. it's a typical trope. cold duke will only realize his love and affection for the fl once she's gone or tries to be independent. i hope that the duke's redemption won't be brushed over and they're suddenly back together. i wish for some proper communication, but it would be hard considering fl has reasonably given up on explaining herself to the ml, who only thinks about defending his title.
