Why are they trying to get rid of Pleta’s familiar? Can’t they just accept Pleta for who she is and instead of trying to get rid of the Basilik, they make sure Pleta knows how to control it this time? It’s like the saying in that weird book. Light can’t exist with darkness and darkness can’t exist without light. Why can’t the two just coexist? Who are they to say what is right or wrong? Or what is black and white? I really hope this story doesn’t disappoint me in the future. I wish there was a spoiler.

I mean it's probably because idk, the basilisk is trying to force Fleta to destroy everything against her own will, and it wants everyone dead, but Fleta doesn't want that. It's also way too strong for her to handle effectively (she's currently a child, and even in the past life when she was older she didn't have control over it) they can't exactly just teach her how to control something when even they wouldn't be able to control it.

I do agree with you for one specific reason it says in the chapter wish you read the book that it’s a coin flipped on either side like it’s the same thing, so can’t they just slip it and even if it is dangerous if she no longer has extreme hatred and resentment doesn’t that mean that she can find a way to control basilisk in a way that might be useful to her the only way that it became so out of control is because of the way she was before

Can anyone recommend something like this? I want to read something that has a strong lead but no romance. Maybe some romance but I don’t want the story to focus on it. It doesn’t matter if the lead is a male or female. TYA

Read this if you haven't ^^ https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/trapped_in_a_webnovel_as_a_good_for_nothing/
I don’t mean to be a hater but im not sure why this was rated so highly. Dropped at chapter 30+, feels like the plot wasn’t going anywhere. The story really needed way more seasoning.
