I'm just guessing but what if she did throw the holy relic but it chose her to be the chosen woman and so to others it looked like she threw the brooch and the stick went back to her hand. I highly doubt she mistook the stick and brooch cause they would have completely different structures and textures. Idk how I feel about him charging at her for theft when not long before he was talking about how he wouldn't know what to do if she died too. although it makes sense about him missing cause the Knights were earlier talking about his exceptional skills with daggers and bows to the point they thought he was an assassin; it wouldn't make sense that he would miss let alone twice at that.
that is a really nice theory. according to the fable in the introduction, i’m guessing lea is the woman god has chosen and bestowed the relic to so it makes sense that if she tossed it, it would find its way back to her. we have to remember that baltha is extremely devout. homie banged his head on the ground until it bled and whipped himself cus he had thoughts of a woman in front of god so i understand why he felt betrayed by lea even though it was a mistake. he’s battling with his loyalty and devoutness to god but also his feelings for lea. he’s an exceptional knight so like lea guessed, i think he was angry and betrayed but he still didn’t have the courage to actually harm lea who he loves so he missed on purpose to stop her from running.
Im looking for an isekai manga where the guy is in a wasteland trying to survive and has to make pacts with fairies to help the land. I believe he appeared after leaving a convenience store. One fairy of his is a small wind fairy another is a dolphin water fairy. I'll also happily accept recommendations but I've been dying to see how that story continued
All I can think of when I see everyone trying to drag him back into the hell that took him so long to get out of (even though mentally he is still there) is the "haven't I given enough"
