That would just ruin the story.The ending was beautiful.Ash got exactly what he deserved.He was loved.He felt happy.
Ash has been murdering people since he was 8 years old.He turned into a monster.There is no way he could ever change himself and his life.
Somebody would be after him no matter what.He was a wanted criminal.People would recognize him and out of fear of being reported he would just continue killing people.Even innocent ones.
Ash is an antihero protagonist after all.Keep that in mind.
I do agree with you on that but if we look at it in an anime type of situation then i don't think that this ending would be best.
Here's why:
Ones the anime will be fully out, people will talk about it but if the ending is "bad" many people won't even bother getting into it. And i think that a light harted ending would be so beautifull to such a dark story.
Also i don't think that they would ever come to change it but still i do wish for something a bit more "bitter sweet" than that.
And i do agree with your point but at the same time i would find it more interesting if it would get a different ending.

Okay so after this new part i have to say that i was left out with a weird felling in my stomach...
A part of me is happy because of the final and real confetion, but the other part of me feels as if it is not fair that xi doesn't give him a proper awnser to his confetion and just give his something that almost seems like "false hope".
I know that it's more romantic if it takes a long time for the 2 main characters to finally fall in love with each other and start dating and bla bla bla...
But this feels almost too cruel to be romantic.... i have been in a situation like this (like many other people have been before me) and can honestly tell you that not getting a clear awnser is one hell of an sadistic ritual to take part of.
But I still wish for them to fall in love with each other! (But it would be even better if jian yi would become someone else's love interest and having xi be jalous and then know t'is that he also has fellings! But shit 2 good 2 true)
Plz tell your though on this and if you agree or not. I am really curious about the point of view of others in this situation.
