can you imagine, knowing you werent able to do anything to save the person you love? knowing they were executed. living with that grief and still raising the doll that is meant to be their replica. the one he really wants is never coming back, and seeing and reliving similar memories with the replica who will never become the same person that is dead, must be devastating. just my take on things. dont feel bad for not being sad, my niece watched titanic and never once cried, and shes a very kind and loving person. we all cry with different things.

The night I posted this comment I was quite depressed myself and I couldn't absolutely muster up a decent reason to empathize with a man who duplicates the person he loved into a puppet that will be used for sexual purposes. It really freaked me out. If he had built it for himself, it would have been different but, damn, he sells those things. It disgusted me. I felt really sorry for his friends, though, and, most in general, for us as humanity. I'm an historian so I'm very used to that kind of stories and, in the end, it's all craziness, all the things men kill and die for, are just stupid. But it seems we can't change. This is actually a common mistake of people: Everyone thinks that rape determinates the sexual orientation - but it's said that is has nothing to do with the sexual orientation. It's said the rapist only wants "power" over the victim. So, rape is only about the power and control over a situation. Which I think fits the rapist: He obviously only wanted to control the victim and humiliate him.
I will never get over how damn sick the rapist is. Criminals who feel no remorse over their actions are the most dangerous of all. This guy seems like a sociopath!
