U see that don't make sense cause at the start they literally said humans started to forget about the spirits and only a few ppl still got the blessings from them and it was a mutual relationship....he destroyed tye evidence so when the uke was reborn he would not remember or find evidence of the dragon he did not do that to protect the dragon cause no about of evidence of the dragon would make anybody u use him when he was already assigned to the use family as their guardian he knew the dragon was waiting on the uke and he did that to prevent them from meeting
