I really hate romance in martial arts, fantasy, and action manhwas. They always emphasize stupid stereotypes, like the guy getting the girl as if she's a trophy rather than a person with complex emotions and backstories. These female characters are just there for the MC and male viewers, often sexualized or dumbed down. It's infuriating when they're either smart and strong but obsessed with the MC, smart and ugly just to assist the MC, or short and annoying as a pick-me. There are so many variations that emphasize a relationship or support role. There are instances where I like it if the female character is introduced early, has a good backstory, and is relevant to the plot, not just introduced for a split second and then forgotten. It's outrageous how they do this without even putting a romance tag, almost as if they deny it or try to make it seem like it's only for girls. Mangas and anime do this too, especially with the multitude of women in harems. I’m against polygamy unless it's a consensual relationship between all parties. At least some romance manhwa stories try to emphasize a complex backstory with emotions that don’t always revolve around the male character. They make the female characters equivalent or similar to the female MC, which can be shown when they respectively get the FL and ML title. This balance makes the story more engaging and respectful to both characters. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

This is so cute (▰˘◡˘▰). I never knock smth out until I try it three times, and if I don’t like it I’ll try getting it made by a professional chef or a native cook.
