I see everyone saying how stupid Dan is for not leaving, but honestly this is quite realistic, Dan doesn’t love himself enough to leave this abusive situation, quite frankly I’d even go as far as to say that he hates himself and so he thinks that he deserves the shitty way he gets treated. I understand that he’s 30 and he should know better for his age however, everyone matures and has real life experiences at different rates. Also as we’ve seen the only person he’s ever really been close to is his grandma, he hasn’t had enough interactions with other people to realise what real love looks like. At this point I don’t think he’s going to leave, I think Jaekyung is going to lose his next match and blame it on Dan then kick him out. At this rate, Dans grandmas gonna die soon and Dan will just hate himself even more and accept anything and everything that’s thrown at him.

Everyone’s saying Dojae is autistic but I don’t think he is? He doesn’t have many traits of autism other than being unaware of social cues and lacking in emotional exchanges with other people, but also it’s a really wide spectrum and everyone I’ve met with autism expresses it differently. Another possibility is Schizoid Personality Disorder since he shows little to no interest or ability in forming relationships with others and he rarely expresses strong emotions. He could just be autistic and I’m overthinking it, however, it would help a lot if the author actually stated his diagnosis and showed him going to therapy or like talking to his mum about it in depth, but whatever it’s a manhwa so I shouldn’t expect it to be realistic. If y’all have any other ideas lmk I’m curious to see what other people think.

He has really strong emotions though, people with shizoid typically won't experience jealousy as intensely as Dojae does, nor those other emotions he does feel and express throughout the story.
But I will say because there's so little research on SPD and even less diagnoses because of how rare it is, there's no way we can know for certain. Maybe he is and we just don't know it yet

This was so cute up until the date, no FUCKING way he called her boring for putting in effort and dressing up cutesy for their date. He claims he likes her because she’s unique and ‘not like other girls’ but what’s wrong with being like other girls? These are the types of guys I fucking hate. Also he could’ve gone about it in a way better manner and actually COMMUNICATED with her instead of walking out on her.
