I was referencing the usual tropes (that I personally don't like) in shojo mangas/romance webtoons. I wasn't talking about real life relationships. Because trust me, I very well know how queer relationships can be toxic (I am queer and I had my fair share of dating toxic people; I am unlucky like that).

What is the problem lately with korean BLs with amazing art but shitty plot? Just r*pe after r*pe and ab*se. I am just tired. There are too many titles like this going around and the problem is that they are amongst the most read BL titles on both korean and english platforms. Angst is okay, drama too, but all of this violence for what?? Shock value? This is just lazy writing imho.
It is such a pity in this case, because the plot here could have been so much more, and with less r*pe and violence all around.

You know, I am very tired of this tropes where the top has to be toxic and then falls in love (probably soon, sonce they just introduced a character to play the classic role of the "rival") and of course the bottom, even after being treated like sh*t, still loves him/falls in love with him.
Plus OF COURSE we are gonna forget about consent, because from the beginning there was NONE given, at any moment (the bottom is basically pressures with money and menaces of physical violence to agree to have sex with the top).
And let's not forget that apparently, every loan sharks in Korea are at least bisexual, since they want to r*pe the protagonist as soon as they think he likes men.
I am just so tired about these tropes (very unrealistic most of the time). It doesn't matter how good the art is, if the plot is trash.

This title started so well, but it is going down to sh*t...what a pity, because the art is gorgeous.
The author even complained online because us readers "dare" to criticize her for the continued ab*se that the main character suffer again and again. Sorry author but just NO, violence and r*pe and revenge p0rn is just lazy writing.
Again, it's a pity, because the art gets more gorgeous chapter after chapter, but the plot just gets worse.
I know the ending is near, I hope I will be able to stick around just to read it. But I don't have any hopes up if it will be good enough to redeem all these awful chapters.
I hope the official version resume soon because the other translation ripped off from other aggregator sites are just awful and full of mistakes :/
The translation of chapter 70 is so bad I had to stop reading after the first two panels D: can people stop uploading from other agrregators with awful translations??? Just wait until the official is caught up with the chapters.
