My boy Sooyon just tells him all of these nice things and how much he's thankful for everything and Jihwan does what??? Nah man, that's so embarrassing to read lol I get it that they are both teenagers and full of hormones but...that was not the mood man. At least Sooyon looks like he's into it, bless him poor boy.
The story is interesting so far, but the translation is so full of mistakes and very hard to understand, mostly in the first chapters (ch1 and 2 and unreadable). Even in the latest chapters so far there are bits of the conversations that don't make sense because of the poor way this title is translated. I hope it gets picked up officially so at least we can understand what they're saying to each other better, because it is a cute title imho and it deserves better.
Between the awful censorship, the ugly a*s watermarks and the translation that's just sub-par, I can't for the love of me understand ANYTHING that's going on in this story. I just know (from reading the warnings on the novel) that the Merman r*ped Desharow multiple times already. Even the chines BLs are now joining the bandwagon of the korean BLs were r*pe is the main plot point and it is grossly dealt with and even romanticised in the worst cases.
Now thay we can finally comment again, here is my 2cents about a few chapters ago, that just infuriated me, because the plot was going so well but no!
Here is another one one to add to the r*apist tops list: this top r*pes the bottom and tells him "it's your fault I'm doing this" just because he is stupidly f*cking jealous of that other guide (I don't care if that other guide is a villain or not). And the bottom actually THINKING that this is plain violence. But still we have the "but my body wants it" trope, just to justify the umpteenth time korean BLs romanticize r*pe.
Mc and ML just make me so angry. It might be very realistic, relationship wise, but if I wanted this amount of relationship bs, I would have read a het romance title. This title started so well :(
Anyway, I want side stories about Blondie (Ho-in's best friend) and a possible love interest for him. I have frankly had enough of the main couple.
I was referencing the usual tropes (that I personally don't like) in shojo mangas/romance webtoons. I wasn't talking about real life relationships. Because trust me, I very well know how queer relationships can be toxic (I am queer and I had my fair share of dating toxic people; I am unlucky like that).
Please let the mom and the aunt be lesbians and live together in their cottage core dream farm in the korean countryside. And it will be amazing if both Seon An and Woowon come out to them because for sure they will be accepted.
