I liked this, the only issue I have is I think the seme should have taken more initiative...
Yes, in reality it's hard to give up your pride and admit you like the other person when you don't know if they like you back...
But judging from the seme's personality and how much he likes the uke, it doesn't make sense to me how he only gets pushed by others to move forward.
Not apologizing to the uke in high school, never calling the uke in the 10 years they were apart, not confessing to the uke after they reunited, not going after the uke after he cried and ran away, they all seem like out of character moves for the seme...

Well
1- the kid was in high school & the person he liked told him that he hated him. In the ukes eyes he didn’t feel anything cuz that’s what he said, uke deleted his #.
2- they hadn’t seen each other in 10 years. Yeah they both had lingering feelings,, but,, it’s been a whole ass decade they don’t actually know each other. Also he wasn’t sure if uke even remembered him.
3-he always seemed nervous and unconfident in his position w the uke. He was the one who f’d up and he felt like he didn’t DESERVE the uke. it all make sense it’s def not out of character.
I j think this seme is not ur type lol. This story actually seemed p realistic.

The ML is Emel, Estelle's first bodyguard. He left the FL without saying goodbye because he wanted to get married to her so he needed to gain an equal standing. But instead, the dude got engaged to the princess Iris (who is jealous of the FL), kissed the princess in front of the FL, apparently GOT MARRIED to the princess??! So really a full circle douche eh. He did all these things for the sake of exposing the royal family, but still, unforgivable!
Also I think in the end Emel and Estelle still end up together, so I'm dropping this one HARD.

I mean seriously....did Emel really need to do this....and why did he fcking kiss the princess.....i don't know why but I'm feeling very annoyed about it....

I get why people are saying this story is realistic, and it is more realistic compared to other yaois about teenage love for sure!
But the fact that the seme and uke are so in love with each other even after 15 years, and their unwavering determination to stay together no matter what, is rare in reality ╥﹏╥
I hope love and relationships in reality can be more like this. This story showed me that if you're with the right person, everything can work out.

This manga started out very wholesome and the pace was perfect, but after they had sex the uke became nothing but weird...

this story had a lot of potential, and I was very much into it until the seme mentioned his ex girlfriend, after that the whole story just went downhill all the way until the end...
I liked the story but I agree it was so annoying when he kept mentioning the ex, also i found it kinda weird how his brother was dating his ex...
Shino was actually his brother's girlfriend from the very beginning. She cheated on his brother with Seryou as a revenge ( because seryou's brother cheated on her first) because she knew he also had feelings for her.
So basically shino never liked seryou she just got with him for revenge, and then broke up with him to get together again with his brother... but he still liked her while being with yuzuru but eventually developed feeling for yuzuru and now they're a couple
Yeah. He liked her all this time but knew that she liked his brother so he stayed away from her and tried dating however he didn't fall for anyone and kept breaking up untill he met Yuzuru.. but as he said he no longer had feelings for Shino even during the beginning of their dating week.. he just couldn't ignore her because he knew she was miserable because of ber brother.. just like he himself was because of her. Shino however, in her moments of weakness always went to Seryou as she knew his feelings for her and kinda used them to feel loved because she couldn't forgive and get back with his brother despite loving him. (Hope it helps ╥﹏╥)

this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I don't like that rape is still presented as a normal/common thing in the manga...yes, both the seme and uke hate rape/non-consensual sex...but the seme's friends all find that behavior to be very normal and I don't see the seme objecting to their ideals seriously? Everything just gets brushed off
and yes I am icky that the seme's friend tried to rape the seme, and he didn't even bat an eye afterwards, sigh
