Joey

This started out so well, but so far the plot is very stagnant. In the last chapter of S1, I thought Sihyeon wanted to meet Daejun. But where is he? I do enjoy the idol life, but it’s really slow. I’m more interested in Daejun finding out who Sihyeon is, them figuring out what caused the accident, and especially the romantic progression. Sadly I’m dropping it to 4/5 stars until the story picks up the pace it had in S1.

Okay after reading chapter 73, I’m dropping this even further to 3/5 (because I really had high expectations for this, and I thought the pace will pick up after how it ended in S1), but the plot is still moving unbearably slow. I’m okay with a good slow burn, one example will be Reunion, but this is too much. The writing does not make me want to continue reading at all. Seeing the spoilers, the ml is the mafia dude (Daejun), but his scenes with Sihyeon are excruciatingly so little when they are the main couple!! Writer should really learn from Our Sunny Days where the pacing is just right.

I came here right after finishing the drama, and I’m so sad that they killed off the teacher, I really like him and it was facts that he cared for his students
