I don't care? From a writing point of view, it is highly overused and all you 4th graders have used this for a narrative project before. I think Isayama's a better writer than this, but if it does end like that I will be highly disappointed.

Like, many people say "at least my favourites/kinnies will still be alive", honey, no. If the whole time-loop theory is true and the timeline isn't linear then that means all t=you're "kinnies" and all your "daddies" were nothing more than a possibility, therefore, if we meet them again, they won't be the same as we have come to love them now.

But the last chapter is next month, I can't even begin to imagine what that's going to feel like.

I'm sorry but isn't the first rule of any fantasy world to NEVER TRUST THE ENEMY, like you know the temple is you're enemy and dangerous but you still accept them with open arms and basically leave yourself open to exposure. Where's the development on NianNian's side? from what spoilers I've read there's basically no development until triple digit chapters

Oh I'm gonna piss some people off, but here's a take that we often just don't seem to get. There is some, not equal, but some responsibility on Nian Nian for how his feelings are being hurt (not the abuse).

Nian Nian is weak for the fact that he can walk away easily, he has more than enough power if he actually tried. However, he chooses to try at the wrong moments which would villainize him. The good thing for him is that weak people can become strong, they just have to let go of that burning stovetop.

This isn't victim blaming him for the abuse, because that part is 1000% not his fault, but what is his fault is going back and back and back again. Let's be real people, Nian Nian is powerful, there's a reason why the ML still needs him for a bit. Nian Nian is kind of stupid as a person. You can't expect a person to love you, and you shouldn't constantly stay around and endure abuse because you love them and you want the same in return.

I would never in a million years blame him for the abuse, but Nian Nian isn't being manipulated like in "Kiss Me, Liar", he can walk away, he has more than enough support behind him.

The whole "I have low self-esteem, so I'm staying with him because I hate myself" thing doesn't make it any less annoying, just hate yourself without an abusive, sad excuse for a husband.

what right does he have to talk about meeting a lover when he's is ACTUDALLY doing it? what right does he have to touch something that shouldn't belong to him.

The plot is just not moving forward, it's all just tension, tension, tension. It's not enjoyable. The MC has this weird need to please this guy who hates his guts, and I was excited because I thought at the beginning of the previous chapter that he had finally gotten some sense.

The MC doesn't even realize how much strength he has over the ML, if he outright says that the ML is abusive and a cheater, the ML's mom would literally do something about it. His father would do something.

We're not even told why he has such low self-esteem so the MC just feels like a typical, damsel in distress. I heard we don't even get proper development until it reaches triple digits (in the novel)
