Should've known they'd never have a knight as the ML :'(
Korean authors love to write in a loyal love interest (aka a knight most of the time) next to the FL but never actually make them ML. Esp with this author, I forgot what chapter but they basically were conveying that a knight is not worthy of being a ML because they don't have powers that are helpful enough. And that a knight and lady are not meant to be. I remember seeing korean readers say they drop the series due to that chapter.
And maybe the fact that they always dream about the perfect mate, who has money, face, and authority. (I mean, who's not)
But, the sad thing is, you can made a knight who's loyal to the lady, without making him a potential love interest. And we're just gonna dream about his perfect match, later on.
Instead they always made the second lead as someone who cares, loving, and gentle, yet never got the heroine.
THAT WAS SMOOTH
