I really appreciate how realistic mc priorities are. So many romance stories have characters prioritize romance over other things in their life. When in reality it’s important to be able to take care of ourselves and be whole people one our own. And as a workaholic college student rn I can really relate to mc who likes someone but doesn’t have the time. Ofc mc and ml will get together in the end but I hope the webcomic will be pushing for work/relationship balance instead of just “love fixes everything in life”

I see people trying to be sympathetic of the dad. But his behavior is only changing because she’s trying to move on and live her life without making him a priority. He’s not even trying to be nice to her because he realizes that he fucked up in the past. No apologies/apologetics at all he’s trying to insert himself in her life when he starts to lose control of her? He’s trying to win back her affection all for what? To force her back into the same toxic codependent relationship she had with him before. He’s a deadbeat dad. But it’s even worse because he literally murdered her in a past life and was mentally abusive to her through her life always pressuring her that she needed to be the best and she was never enough. My friends therapist said you can either have a relationship with your family or be happy. And in reality if the basis of a relationship is toxic there’s not much to work with. At this point the best thing he can do for her is leave her alone and let her finally be happy.

Okay like I get this is supposed to be some fluffy cute slice of life fantasy manga but like how tf do you have a territory where the soldiers can get away with injuring the lord and attempting to physically assault the lord’s wife? Maybe I’m nitpicking but without any sense of “law” it pretty much makes it seem like anyone can get away with anything there. And there’s no way everyone who lives there happens to be good people especially if you have soldiers who thinking beating women is okay.
