I am not justifying or downgrading the behavior exhibited to Na-kyum, this is just a thought.
What if Na-kyum's abuse is a tamer version of Seungho's childhood trauma, except in this instance, Na-kyum is actually *somewhat* cared for so the abuse is not to the extent Seungho went through. We can see from flashbacks that Seungho had been through something fairly similar to Na-kyum, as for him begging for help, bruises, his father grabbing him by the neck, and when Na-kyum was begging for his life, we can see instead of worried, Seungho looks terrified, as if he was in a dazed state. What I fear the most is that Seungho went through something similar to Na-kyum but to a greater extent. Such as being; Raped, beaten, abused, and even in one or multiple points having to beg for his life. After all, he says he hates the sight of bearded old men, his father looking somewhat similar and since we haven't been introduced to this "Lord Song" character we can only imagine what he went through; except nobody was there to protect him or help him, knowing that Mr.Kim is cowardly and Jiwha probably did nothing to stop it. You can say "he deserved it after what he put Na-kyum through" which is absolutely untrue. He was a child, he was as innocent as a child could be, he didn't even know of Na-kyum's existence at the time. You can only imagine the hell he went through but unlike Na-kyum, nobody was there to save him. That is true horror.

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW what a rollercoaster. I watched the anime so I decided to read the Manga, I am NOT disappointed, I'm not sure if it's just me but I'm content with the end. It captures love for what it really is, not everyone can be happy together, it's not always meant to be, love can really transform us. It's just so...amazing. If you haven't read it, what the hell are you doing?
The author is hella good with expressions, if you look closely at the zoom in of Na-kyums face when he is tied up you can see the look of pure utter terror and hatred. Clearly Na-kyum is finna snap

Ok, I really, REALLY hope Na-kyum's sister heard that bang, she can find him tied up and say everything we wanted to say to Seungho because at this point, I want to literally kick him in the throat. I HOPE she tells him 'This is not how you make someone love you' because like, Seungho isn't taking shit from anyone anymore and I've given up at this point.
