if my theory is correct, i just want to say how amazing this writing is. i know more than the average person does about DID without actually having it, and the way this story sets up to be so layered and thoroughly fleshed out is so good. some of the characters are genuinely hard to forgive, and this story does a good job and making it realistic. my theory is that the mc actually has DID and is in real time discovering real memories while struggling because of pseudo memories clashing with his perception of reality. he genuinely does believe that the world remembers living in was the “real timeline” and he’s in fiction, but he’s actually living in the real world. he has DID throughout the entire storyline (potentially from being r-worded and neglected as a child) and has a fractal system where the host doesn’t know they’re a system and can’t know, and now the previous mc is merging with the current mc. the ml coming back from the future probably didn’t know he had DID in the previous timeline because the host lived his entire life without knowing. RAHHH i love this storyline!! ヾ(☆▽☆)
I adore the way the characters develop, and the designs are great too. the only thing that throws me off is that sometimes information is missing before developments and the pacing can be weird at times. still a 5/5 stars since it’s so damn interesting, I just wish all the information would be given at the right times.
no because when they start crying and talking about how they want to live their lives and how they’re going to stop at nothing to make their dreams a reality i start sobbing. AND NOW HE’S ADMITTING HIS GUILT AND OPENING UP AND I’M GETTING TOO EMOTIONAL ABOUT FICTIONAL CHARACTERS!!
maybe it’s just me that understands where he comes from? obviously there’s really deep trauma that’s rewired the way his brain works. when you’re consistently put through the same damaging shit, it becomes a second nature as a way to protect yourself. it’s not perfectly realistic but it’s pretty damn close to how somebody with trauma reacts when put in a dangerous situation.
girl wtf. the whole premise is manipulation and hypnotism and r*pe. also… story feels unfinished. does he just never find out about woojin hypnotizing his bf to destroy his relationship??
