This is a masterpiece by itself. I read the sequel long ago and already forgot what it’s about when I started this so i was reading it with a fresh perspective, not rlly knowing what they meant when they talked about uichi doing something bad to tatsuyuki.
Honestly, im glad i read this as a standalone because uichi’s character development is one of the best things here and for him to do something to his lover’s son just doesn't make sense.

Glad i didnt let the comments discourage me from reading this lol the plot is great i guess some people just cant get past seme’s whole “whoring” around phase. I find that kinda thing off putting too but it gets explained why and he gets better - i did feel it was lacking more in depth context about his experience and backstory though but i havent read vol 2 yet hopefully we get more there.

Yknow what misaki didnt have the healthiest mindset but i empathized with him anw — maybe it’s the misaki-centric pov or how they made kaname a bit too oblivious of misaki’s inner turmoil and ending up saying all the wrong things. Im glad they made it work in the end but i also think they wouldve been better off going separate ways permanently. They both wouldve thrived better that way.
I would lowkey pick the bear over kousuke Bro rlly said he was prepared to knock ryota out just so he can keep jerking off to him while the guy was drunk dead on a toilet bowl like—???
