The side stories for the brother are out! The side stories for the main couple are starting today. Well in korean that is. We are still waiting for the official english translation
This gave me a laugh i liked the main characters though i have to agree on some of the comments about the side characters they caused so many problems i had to skip some panels due to frustration. Overall this was a good quick read but the plot is full of holes there couldve been so much more to unpack with the mcs’ relationship and backstories which wouldve been much more interesting. Instead we got chapter after chapter of pent up side characters doing stupid sht lol.
Im not even gonna get into the mpreg lol i havent even read to that part yet (and nvr will cos im probably gonna drop this soon) both mcs are so insufferable lowkey had to question if the dialogues are real or just bad translation cos most of these wont fly irl. Seme is too assertive and took advantage of the fact that uke is weak and cant seem to do a thing for himself and uke cant stand his ground at all. They both also act rlly childish i cant stand it.

People are actually upset that uke slept with someone else and isnt instantly head over heels and committed when it’s been made very clear from the beginning that how he thinks and approaches things is very unconventional lol no one appreciates actual slow burn anymore. Anw this is rlly good and both mcs are no fuss, mature adults with just a bit of unhinged but it was overall rlly sweet with nicely paced developments.

This is a masterpiece by itself. I read the sequel long ago and already forgot what it’s about when I started this so i was reading it with a fresh perspective, not rlly knowing what they meant when they talked about uichi doing something bad to tatsuyuki.
Honestly, im glad i read this as a standalone because uichi’s character development is one of the best things here and for him to do something to his lover’s son just doesn't make sense.
Glad i didnt let the comments discourage me from reading this lol the plot is great i guess some people just cant get past seme’s whole “whoring” around phase. I find that kinda thing off putting too but it gets explained why and he gets better - i did feel it was lacking more in depth context about his experience and backstory though but i havent read vol 2 yet hopefully we get more there.

The brother and that butler doesnt deserve tomoe he needs to cut them off completely. The brother is downright horrible but Takashi tryna manipulate and guilt trip tomoe while putting on a facade is just as disgusting.
I have a feeling im gonna hate the ml on this one. 3rd ending ml pmo at first but at least he didnt resort to violence lol. Scanned through the raws and author concluding it at 16th chap is honestly not that bad the other ml didnt tolerate dude’s actions and dude got his karma period.
