So basically this couple is like childhood friends who turned into lovers but they broke up for some reason (we don't know the reason yet). But it looks like they still love each other.
When they met again a few years later in the hotel, the omega goes into heat before taking the pheromone blocker and the alpha is affected by it and he temporarily marks him. Then on their way back from the hotel, they get into a car accident and the alpha loses his memories, and only remembers until he is 14 years old.(Now he is like 23 something I guess?). Back when the alpha is 14 years old, they were still friends and attend the same school together.
So when the alpha wakes up, he still looks for the omega and is affected by his pheremones (cuz he temporarily marked him when the omega was in heat) so the alpha's family decide that the omega can live with him until the alpha can regain his memories. And we also learn that the alpha is from a rich family and he has a fiancee (the green haired dude in the latest chapters) that could have caused the break up (we don't know yet) so yeah..thats what happened so far :P LOL

They broke up on their own, I think. Maybe because the omega MC thought he didn’t deserve Alpha ML. And this happened a few years back—even before the fiancé entered the picture.
