I have to say this was phenomenal !! I LOVE CONOR AND SIMON SO MUCH!! I also think it's so important that this story talks about homophobia and racism, even in a fictional place. It really adds a layer of reality and truth to being in a queer relationship that most stories prefer to gloss over, overlook, or not include. It's hard stuff to write about and portray well, so kudos to the author!! :)

That moment when you've been working on/plotting out your own Shonen Ai manga/storyline because you want to see more representation in non-romance centered mangas... but you forget you can't draw... (￣∇￣")

Anyone have any good BL/GL recommendations, or stories you want me to read and/or analyze? I have a handful of stuff on my homepage, if anyone wants to see what I've read and what I've analyzed, but yeah!

Honestly I prefer more shonen-ai, good plot/healthy relationships, though I also do love reading messed up psychological thrillers where you absolutely (are meant to) DESPISE one or both of the main protagonists!

Anywho, suggest away and I'll write some analysis stuff to provide recommendations and discussions for other users! Don't forget to give me a quick follow if you enjoy my reviews! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

    Hello hello!! i saw your question and was interested in you making reviews, so i came to check your recent is reading list n was surprised at how similar our tastes are lmfao!

    I love long shounen or shoujo ai plots that usually get you to think or rope you along with the characters (actually healthy LMAO) romance, but on the other hand find myself reading more fucked up pyschological stuff that is self aware enough to realize their characters r hurting, and give them the appropriate endings they deserve!! (i don’t like romanticizing very toxic relationships shakes head)

    anyways!! my recs for you would be Mr. Miss (super sweet shounen ai with accurate lgbt terminology and good representation) and Warehouse (VERY VERY DARK psychological horror that features a lot of r*pe in its openings chapters, i tend to skip those parts, but with a very interesting and fucked plot)
