At first I wasn't happy with how things turned out. Hibiki got The Dragon and Ryuuji moved on. But honestly after thinking about it some, that's a pretty good non-cliche story. Hitoshi gave his life for Ryuuji so that he could continue to live, which he devoted his life to doing. Ryuuji ended the toxic line of hatred and killing after he learned how much unnecessary loss hurts people; and ultimately he kept living which was all Hitoshi really wanted. Sure I would have been happy if they could live on together, but Ryuuji touched so many people and prevented a lot of other people from feeling that same loss that he had felt.
This was a great manga and it kept me hooked the entire time. Normally manga of this length take me a long time because I get bored. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
