I don’t think she forgets about him so much as he’s a constant in her life that is regular and comfortable to her so when things come up that aren’t normal for her her mind tend to prioritize them.
Basically it means Josh is someone she doesn’t feel the need to stress over or give answers to because she knows he will always be there. A little unfair to Josh, but I assume since he doesn’t push the topic he is ok with giving her time.

And btw, when erin found out she completely agreed with aiden’s plan, even praised him lol. This is also the arc where they found out erin is pregnant.

From what I remember, He really did have amnesia (hence the internal monologue) but he got his memories back reallyyyy early on and decided to use it against the elders. Maybe in the next 2-3 chapters he'll have it back (hopefully)
