Why do I feel like Taku is much appreciated than Joowon?
Why can't people see joowon's sacrifices for heasoo? Why can't they see how Beautiful it is? Joowon was manipulative. But Taku did some bad deeds too. I feel like some people are overlooking it. It's always Taku Taku Taku here in the comments. Idk, I just feel like the scale ain't balanced. Fyi, I'm not hating.
It's cause Taku stans are selective readers and treat him like an angel when he's far from it.
Also I dont think Joowon was manipulative. He did things on the premise of protecting Haesoo and their relationship. He did wrong things with good intentions, and he was arrogant or selfish in some way. However he was not really manipulative, and actually the only one sacrificing a lot for Haesoo. Taku on the other hand,, was very emotionally manipulative. His whole reason for entering a relationship with Haesoo was out of selfish curiosity, like Haesoo was a project for him to analyze and use.

Rather... Joowon is just being arrogant and nothing more. There's no hidden ulterior motive or scheme that we saw of how he can control Haesoo by saying this (which is necessary for this to be even close to be gaslighting). He's stating his perception of Haesoo's actions, which honestly he's actually right. Not that he should say it out loud, since yeah: it makes him a jerk. But it won't change the fact Haesoo has continuously come back to him for years and years. Every person Haesoo has seen: he's dumped, or gotten tired of, and lost interest in.
Joowon never said those things with any ulterior motive or agenda to force Haesoo to stay with him-- but rather him being arrogant due to his experience of the past like 7 whole years with Haesoo.

yeah i agree joowon has his flaws, just as the other two do. mainly in his arrogance and impulsive/agressive nature? i just never saw gaslighting fall underneath it.

he just seemed too arrogant and blinded in thinking he'd been doing the *right* thing all these years to protect their relationship, and protect haesoo. haesoo accepting all the issues in their r/s and never speaking how he felt (and there's a whole set of reasons for hs being that way, unrelated to jw) is probably why he never realized.
well everyone has their own flaws uk. i think this manhua shows the best example that no relationship can be perfect and it will have some twists and turns. in fact nothing in this world is perfect. so ofc there is no angel and no devil. everyone has their own sufferings and their own sacrifices...this manhua is a full proof of it. so i dont think i can blame anyone or be biased with anyone.
