The snaky thingy is a "Naga", but it is from indian mythology. Europeans didn't really have such things as far as I know.

Our mythologies don't have dragons actually, Malaysia's myths are more towards horror entities but if malaysians were to say what a dragon is, we would most definitely refer to the dragons in Chinese folklore!
