I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS AAAAAA BUT THIS STORY IS SOO GOOODD HECC i got anxiety just from reading this, props to bada cuz i could never, I'd be a mess every time hell.
And Doha, I agree with the theory that he's the main character. His unpredictability makes me anxious he's more of a threat than the killer, but at least bada has someone with him through this, poor guy.
I'm confused about the cousin. Doha mentioned about a liar who's trying to save his own skin? Does he mean bada's cousin? Is there another npc who's been "awake" this whole time? The whole eyesight thing was definitely sus. It seems like he's figured out smth again and is going to test it out while bada's trying to have to figure it out later. The mind games is crazyy I need answers now
oh sure, put the blame back on ur kid for not "looking for you harder enough" when:
a. he was a young kid, and he thought you were dead
b. he grew up in an abusive household with no support, he was already struggling to survive
c. you're his mom, and you promised to come back, and as a kid ofc he'd believe that, ur the mom
d. you admitted to not meeting him because you didn't want your new husband to know you had a child
e. you believed your shitty ex when he said those stuff, when u know, he's a pos and he's most likely lying through his teeth cuz he's shitty
the thing is, I sympathize with her, and the shit she went through with that trash, good for her for escaping out of that shitty situation and finding happiness. but it just bothers me, when you leave your child for years to fend for his own, knowing your ex-husband will neglect/abuse him, and then come back when he's got a life of his own, only to blame him because "he didn't look for you." like idk chief, sounds like garbage to me :/
i would love a side story 3 please, this isn't enough T^T they just gon mess with my feelings like that and dip? hell nah
As someone who's also got unresolved childhood trauma/issues, I understand hyesung. With all the abuse and neglect he went through as a child, his character arc is very understandable. There's a reason why he was scared of being a parent, scared of love and marriage, and its because he never had those stable figures in his life. Now that he's mentally well, his abusive father comes back and ruins it all by justifying what he did was "right" and that his mother-the only person getting him through those tough times, hoping she'd come back and take him again-didn't want him. I'd be depressed too. He needs time for himself and its good that he's not projecting it all out on byul which is why he's keeping his kid at arm's length. That amount of pain and sadness is too much to burden to a child, and so him keeping it to himself until he figures it out is him being a good parent. Dojin being the most patient and understanding husband yall in the comments section could never be, we stan.
PREACH!! They be talking shit about Hyesung, and I'm like, bitches?? Are y'all still ok?? Hyesung might've been a bad parent at the start but one could see as clear as day that he loves both Byul and Dojin. It's his father's sudden appearance that brought him back to his childhood, and he is still coping. I'd say it's very good of him to ask for some alone time instead of lashing out on Byul and Dojin. Our Hyesung has matured. So y'all should shut your trap and open your eyes about how damaging abuse is.
Exactly! It irritates me. They can't even extend their sympathy towards the person who suffered so much in this entire story. hyesung didn't grow up well off, in a happy, stable marriage and you expect him to be perfect and ok about everything?? also, he didn't even want a child nor dojin but he tried his best and opened his heart to both of them so what more could they want? yea he has his faults, but i applaud him for getting this far and being mature enough to have a family he loves and cherishes which he never grew up with btw. with his past, he could have been just as much as a monster, but he isn't.
ok but i've been thinking, what if further down the line, blondie will actually catch feelings for his enemy and then suspect that tito aint as perfect as it seems to be. then the reveal would be that eugene was actually a psychopath all along and that he knew blondie was working to bring him down so he strung him along so that he could be bait for his real target: tito. there's gonna be this wild backstory about how tito and eugene became enemies sworn to killing each other. by this point blondie would have fallen for him, but eugene doesn't care and tells him he only used him as a pawn. blondie will be put in the middle, choosing between the lesser evils, and who he loves more in the situation.
its a wild thought, but thas it.
The side stories would be interesting if it delves into Yooil progressively realizing just how fucked up Hwan is, or finding out some of what he's done just to keep him there, like turning him into an omega. I'd want to see the dynamic of Yooil figuring out what to do with that information, to acknowledge that everything in his life might have all been a lie, especially now that they have a kid together, which heightens the stakes.
So far this is not giving. The tired obsessive third party creating a cheating misunderstanding trope is saur out of left field. We didn't even know this guy and now we are forced to
