i mean, that's the nature of having a crush - we crush on people we've only seen once on campus or at a store or wherever just because we think they're pretty but we don't know them at all. that's completely normal! people might be upset because she seems to be obsessed with hangyeol but obsession to some degree is part of having a crush. u could also say why is that dragon guy crushing on her? ofc, they spent more time together but he literally told her he liked/loved her at first sight, so he's just as irrational as her.

But he's not. Because she has been denied by hangyeol and he has show time and time again no interest in her and even she realized that he was trying to set her up with our ML. But from his POV he has been seeing signs of her liking him. Allowing him to get closer to her and even agreed to go on a romantic school assignment, ment for couples. From his pov he's has only been seeing green flags and then got confessed to cementing everything he thought to be true I mean even when she was building courage to confess she was already thinking he was going to reject her. So really at this point we know she likes our ML she was so heartbroken that they wouldn't be able to hang out she's just resisting out of stubbornness, which I get, but not for actually disliking ML.

No I've never been attracted to some complete stranger. But I guess your right that's where parasocial relationships come from with celebrities. Idk for me I don't grow affection for someone until I've known them for a bit. But if she's the the type to just see another beast kin and then fall for them that makes me more confused.
