This looks very interesting! And the art is really good and cool. I notice this translation group is getting a lot of good works to translate. Thank you for bringing us these cool and pretty BL stories. But I agree, if it is shounen-ai I'm hoping the kid grows up real quick. I know he's a teenager, but that height difference has me like

This chapter was too much for me. I think either the King of Alabasta died or it was possibly Vivi. More than likely an assassination if what Morgans said is true. It'd honestly be a dick move on Oda's part of he kills of Sabo. His character was technically created as a replacement for Ace, plus it would be shitty to make Luffy suffer again. As for Drake I kinda assumed he was a double spy, I mean we saw that Hawkins betrayed Kaido too so. Also kinda surprised Morgans is a good fighter lol. And is anyone else curious about Makino's baby? I feel like the anime made it appear like it could be Shanks' child.

I'm so happy to see this got picked up! It's definitely nothing like rumspringa lol, but it's funny and I love the art style. Thank you new translator for picking this up, you've done a great job so far with the second chapter. Also sad to hear that salty potatoes scan group disbanded, they really have us a lot of good translations.

I know he had his reasons which weren't really good. But it still sucks, like y'all just needed to talk. The author wasn't lying when she said her next story was going to be the same formula. They fall in love, a shit ton of drama happens which equals to IMMENSE PAIN, and then the happily ever after lol. And while I know they get back together, I truly hate unnecessary drama. COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY. Anyways from the raws we're in for some frustrating chapters.

Nope. Communication is not key. I am living proof that communication is often no more than abuse, ESPECIALLY with a personality like either of these two have. All 'communication' would do is emphasize the power difference between Esau and Hosoo and the two of them and their b**** mothers. You aren't reading if you think that Esau won't try to impose his own thoughts on Hosoo just as he did when he told Hosoo not to fall in love with him then proceeded to do everything he could to make Hosoo do precisely that. You aren't reading if you think Hosoo's mother hasn't used 'communication' to screw up Hosoo even more, when it's OBVIOUS he has communication difficulties (of course, people who are naive enough to believe that communication will magically lead to a solution that will solve every person's problems tend to ignore anything that would put the lie to their claim). Nope, this idea that communication is key is actually just an easy way to condemn those who fail (TO communicate or AT communicating).
Communication would do fuck all in this situation, anyways. It DOESN'T solve the heart of the issue, which is the mothers and that AWFUL pos stepfather. All communicating would do is solve a 'problem' that doesn't actually exist and make the ACTUAL problem worse. Ktbn.

When I said communication is the key, I meant revealing to Esau why he decided to go public with what he found out from the mother. I know very well the mothers are both abusive and manipulative. It showed that Hosoo's own adoptive father thought her blaming him for the sister's accident was too much. And with the other mother, she's an abusive bitch and would never change, and the former celebrity husband is a sick fuck too. But we're not gonna act as if the decision of hurting the one love you more, than telling them the truth is the right answer. I know in the long run he did what felt was best but Esau knew at this point that Hosoo didn't just see him as someone famous. He wasn't looking at him as money or a way to gain fame. He saw him as a normal person. Sure he called him a pain in the ass, but he always showed that he was different. They grew to understand each other even if they hadn't known the other for a long time. It is very sad to see how much of a strong hold their traumatic pasts still have on them.
So yes I am reading it very well. We know Esau's personality, but you seem to forget it's already been revealed that he was Hosoo's first love. So he didn't try to get him to do anything. He was already in love with Esau, if anything being with him just helped him fall deeper. Because this time he got to truly know him as a person, and not this presence that was there to calm him during his hardest time. Again, we can see it as him protecting Esau which is technically true, but I still believe things could've been different.

So Fang Tang liked Bai Hu at one point and I'm guessing something happened. Then a few chapters before it seems like Bai Hu kinda confessed? But since Fang Tang likes Ah Shu now, everything is just a mess... Also that little extra of them with the hickey. I can only assume that's later on when they start dating.

Not gonna lie I genuinely thought they were siblings. They really don't come off as friends and she relies on him a lot. But I guess that door code comment was for a reason. Now unless I missed something that already revealed this, but that was interesting. More confused why she would try and make her boyfriend jealous with that comment.
Does tapas have a censored version??? I swear we were reading the original one, sex and all, this whole time.
Yeah it does. :U Hopefully anon below edits chapter 39 and 40.
