The Alpha goes from „asshole who pretends to be nice“ to „asshole who forces himself on the omega“ to „puppydog golden retriever boyfriend“ in seconds. That’s not character development, that’s character lightswitch.
This manga starts out as a thriller with the omega being gaslit, imprisoned and raped and then turns really wholesome because „character development“. At least the omega recognises the bad behaviour as bad and doesn’t forgive immediately.
