I dislike harems as much as everyone else, but what's even worse than having a harem? Getting a character like Jeane. I hate characters that push their feelings onto someone without having the least bit of consideration for them or their feelings.
Has Astaroth ever said he liked her? Has he ever said he'd marry her? NO, NOT EVEN FREAKING ONCE IN THE WHOLE OF THEIR TIME TOGETHER. Yet, this girl has the AUDACITY to proclaim she's his wife/going to be his wife. It irks me honestly, I can't stand her!
Apart from her, I like it. The plotline is good and entertaining so far.
Oh my god.. you're right!! And it's worst when the MC get together with them just for the sake of it at the end of the story. I suddenly have a flashback of Toriko where he suddenly marries Rin who bothers him at every single meeting and after that, he just leave her on earth and travel through the galaxy with his travel partner which is a guy (that everyone teases them that they were actually a couple because their chemistry too strong).. I was like, WTF? Why marry her then? Just to show some hetero moment? That you should marry some girl to fullfill society standard and leave her for along time to wait for you to come back home while you're having a blast somewhere else? Geez..
I just reread the whole thing, and I'm not saying this just because BL, but Desir x Pram have the best interactions and they're imo the best fit, good chemistry, and personality-wise. I know it won't happen, but they're surely a great couple together.
Second place for me is definitely Adjest, her composure and demeanor complement Desir well, they have good substance to their relationship as well and I like that she's strong and can stand on her own as well.
I do like Romantica, I'm not against her, but I don't believe she has good chemistry with Desir romantically speaking. I think Desir sees her as a good friend and past comrade, nothing more.
My fear is the next chapter... my fear is seeing the kids' and Jeremy's reaction when they know... Shuli was killed and in such a brutal way. I don't think I'll be able to see that with this fragile heart of mine ╥﹏╥
It was such a tragedy all along, Shuli believing no one wanted her and that she never had a place in that family, while in reality they thought highly of her and considered her family... until her last moments she was the 'fake mom'... and they never got to tell her otherwise, it was too late ╥﹏╥
I've waited since chapter 10 was out so it accumulates and I can read the arcs I want in one go, but since the novel is quite lengthy it'll take a long while to get to want I want to read ┗( T﹏T )┛
...I'll tell you since it isn't an actual spoiler: the Kim Dokja x Yoo Junghyuk is STRONG af throughout the novel lmao (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ their interactions are genuinely what kept me going hehe
Just wow, and it's sensei's first book? I was thoroughly impressed, it's been a really long time since I've felt two characters belong with each other this strongly!
The fluffiness and drama dust, which was neither frustrating nor prolonged, perfect to keep it light yet entertaining and not boring. I'm still amazed by it, will definitely keep rereading until their next work! ヾ(☆▽☆)
I really need to see him happy please, he's too good to leave alone (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
That said, it feels like their story is just beginning so I wouldn't find it weird if we did get a volume 2 sometime in the future... hopefully (●'◡'●)ノ
Any recommendations like this one? I'm on a journey at the moment ヾ(☆▽☆)
