If you don't read descriptions: NOT recommended.
Could've been a REALLY good psychological + incest one, and because the art is cute I had high expectations... yeah no. I don't really recommend it guys.
I don't really like the younger brother, but I actually dislike the older brother too although for different reasons.
Expected younger brother to apologize to older brother for what he said at the park, but I expected him to tell him properly that it wasn't HIM he found 'disgusting' but the fact that he slept around with other men when younger brother has feelings for him (didn't happen, was glozed over)
Then, when older brother finally confessed, I expected to finally see any resemblance of a relationship at the very least (after everything they put us through). What does he do? Try to run away AGAIN, knowing full well how badly that ended before. He was also fully aware how psycho his younger brother is and the fact that all he ever asked of older brother was to remain by his side. I'd understand if he doesn't want anything to do with younger brother, but he LITERALLY told him like two panels before he loves him and has for a very long time... so the dots ain't connecting sheriff.
I was honestly expecting younger brother to just snap fully and do something to himself bc it got into bad territory really quickly... so even that fluffly ending didn't sit right with me at all.
I feel like author wasn't mature enought to handle certain parts, and I could tell she wanted to go into one direction but then stopped herself and tried patching it up. It just didn't make sense.
I'm genuinely surprised at the comments bc wdym NONE of you read the tags??? Like, what are you doing here if it disgusts you...? Fan etiquette down the drain nowadays since ppl can't even READ it seems
I have no idea why SO many seem to be struggling with the BASICS of being a fan nowadays. Checking tags should be the bare minimum. IF, for some reason, you missed them, at least look over the comments???
It's one thing if they didn't like the work, fair enough, but most comments are literally bashing the work for what it is when IT IS IN THE TAGS! It's annoying for those who want to read it and check the comments to see how it is or to add comments and all they see is ppl who can't read, apparently.
Because ppl are crying incest here but wanting to read the novel...
They are ACTUAL blood siblings in the novel, so if THIS bothers you, you won't be able to stomach the novel. If you can't even stomach step-siblings, idk what you're doing here tbh
Especially since it's so obvious. I didn't expect them NOT to be bloodrelated, going by every detail given.
But I really hate people who come to make brainless comments on stories they weren't going to like. If someone didn't like gay romance and came just to shit on a story tagged as YAOI or Shounen Ai for being gay, they'd call it out immediately, because they are the "moral" people, not understanding that they are doing the exact same thing.
They only added 'step' to brothers but kept everything else, including their dynamics, the exact same lol.
And thank you for this! I'm very annoyed by the amount of "are you reading this? it's disgusting" comments under my very problematic media that I WANT to read and actively search for. Ppl don't even have the courtesy to read tags or the synopsis for stuff they read nowadays, and then blame the media for what it is. It is YOUR job to make sure you're not coming across media you dislike. And it's not your right to bash ppl who DO enjoy said media.
I also don't know if that's a translation error, but he calls one of them his twin. How are you not blood related as a twin?
Exactly. All these warnings plastered on absolutely everything nowadays too. People somehow unlearned taking care of themselves, to the point where they feel it's their right to make it everybody else's issue when they come across something they don't like or can't handle.
I think it is because in the novel they ARE twins. MC is the older twin. But for the manhwa it probably is an error!
And I absolutely agree! The media ain't the issue, they've done ENOUGH to warn you multiple times. It is YOUR job to ensure you ain't reading something you don't want to. I'm sick of everyone's entitlement and lack of fandom etiquette.
I just had a conversation with someone else and they explained that in the Webtoon version, the MC was adopted, but he's the only one in the family who doesn't know. So he really believes that Tivain, or whatever his name is, actually is his twin. Of course, I don't know if they tell the truth, but I have no reason to doubt them, since it makes way more sense than this being a mere mistake made by two different scanlation groups.
That... is interesting. I wonder if they reveal this to him BEFORE he gets tangled with the brothers or not at all... because I feel this would be a point of contention between all of them. I mean, in the novel it's very "but we're brothers!" from the get-go, so it would be interesting seeing that here...
But then again, even like this ppl still complain ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ so many concessions done already
I have a feeling i'll regret saying this but... I just gotta get it off my chest
Just why didn't the three of them end together??? Author, you're already going off the uncle x nephew incest; what's stopping you from having the three of them ending together? I feel so bad for the mom/wife bc
It's obvious that the older brother knew about the younger brother's feelings, and probably liked him too, but chose to marry and be 'normal'. However, chapter 5 was a thing, so like... it'd have been better to just have that lovely lady (wife) out of the picture and let them stay together? I can't put it into words but it's just weird they ended up together like that when it's clear the younger brother still loves the older brother (romantically), and you can see the older brother reciprocates... PLEASE TELL ME YOU GET IT! Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
Like, idk, it feels like the author didn't commit enough, and I can't respect them for it. Also, wdym that's how older brother/younger brother have been acting like that all this time??? Unless mom/wife is ok with it (idk?!) it's just... WEIRD!!! I have too many mixed feelings here, I'm out now (⌒▽⌒)
I don't know how to put it in words, but this is sort of one of the very few times that a manga goes exactly where I want it to go. And I'm not referring to them ending up together, but simply how they handle the situation, their talks, their ups and downs... until they finally get together. It honestly felt longer than just 7 chapters, and, amazingly, the mangaka was able to make it feel like that despite it being so short.
I LOVED their characterization; I loved their relationship, their compatibility, the wingman brother, the friend's acceptance... wow, just wow. Will def reread!!! And I'm grabbing a japanese copy right away!

Love when there's daughters in my BL!!! She's an adorable addition, love this family too much
