It's like she's playing a game where there's only checkpoints and she can't manually save.
Heck, there's no guarantee she will re-do after dying/killing herself. It worked that way thus far, but who's to say she wont just... DIE?
I'm interested if there's going to be a point where she revives at a different time/day.
This pattern reminds me of that webtoon the Skeleton Who Couldn't Protect the Dungeon.
I don't really see any other ending besides this. The whole narrative revolved around Tae-jun's memories, and it was strongly hinted that their childhood was f*cked up, and f*cked up supernatural shit was happening. So, ofc, the ending will be like that.
Once he got his memories back, the story was pretty much over. Like, what else is there to be told after that anyway? Their love life? Nah, the story will devolve into a silly dramatic rom-com when you remove the mystery of their past.
To be honest, I hardly ever felt any character developments for Yeonwoo himself --- so their relationship leaves a bit more to be desired.
All in all --- pretty fun read, creepy, kinky, problematic... at the end of the day, it's one of those bl stories with some sort of engaging plot other than romance and sex.
I'm pretty sure the priest cares a lot for her, probably holds feelings as well -- but that clumsy conversation about love was just the natural outcome of two people with zero romantic experience.
He MIGHT have ulterior motives, though I didn't feel like it was a deliberate scheme because of that. IDK, instead of being manipulative, their little exchange felt that he just simply wanted to help (otherwise why would he go out of his way to confirm that it wasn't a "friend's" story LOL)
