I actually preferred that there was not TOO much over the top drama.
It's... actually pretty scary how psychopaths were portrayed in this. A calm, unassuming, exterior -- but there's a bomb silently ticking inside.
The story is just subtly telling you the reality of it all, how fucked up and turbulent the life of the twins were. They each had their misfortune, but they ultimately saved each other.
The title 'Save Me' applies to the both of them.
Listen, why are they always aiming their hostility towards the other girl --- when it's blatantly the guy who is causing trouble? Sharina is trying her best to reject the prince's advances without being accused of treason (she could literally get executed after all).
Like hello, the prince shamed the consort publicly -- how is THAT Sharina's fault? Not to mention, even Sharina is uncomfortable for suddenly being carried and held without permission. I can't understand the reason for directing your anger towards someone who is a victim as well //sigh//
Meanwhile, the prince is whining about the girls' frivolousness... when he HIMSELF is bothering someone who is not interested. The hypocrisy of it all.
Aria was screwed either way, if Asher didn't come and take her away (whether or not she chose to use the hourglass). Running away and setting an alibi for herself can secure her own safety. It might not be best or cleanest course of action, but it works, and it's pretty smart.
Even with the tea party members testifying Aria's presence inside the estate, the Crown Prince's words hold more credibility (because of his status lol). On top of that, they will have tangible evidence that they were out on a vacation... Who would believe Mielle if she told them, "the prince came out of nowhere and they teleported!"
Mielle's little ploy worked against her, since whoever has solid proof has the upper hand. Testimonies will do jack-shit.
Even if that salty sister becomes an empress, does she seriously think she will last on the throne? A title that was taken over forcefully is nothing but just living in a crumbling sand castle. It never ends well.
The way she thinks she would be invincible once she becomes the empress makes me convinced that she is dumber than I thought.
UGUGJGHGFHHH it was sooooo satisfying to see them shut up for once. I know that going against the headmaster's orders will bite them in the ass later but WHO CARES
HAND IT TO THEMMMMM
