At first im not really interested especially since the art is pretty normal and the premise is quite generic, but the way they convey postpartum depression is so real and nearly perfect that i found myself nearly crying when Ercella finished her monolog. What she did was wrong but understanable, she was young, alone, burdened with obligation to save her household from ruin her life suddenly not for herself anymore, everytime anyone open their mouth it is only about the baby, her husband is busy and basically negelcting her, i mean she literally went through her father dying, her father in law's dying, her husband sent to war because he chose to marry her and not the princess. Maybe she also felt guilty because her husband was in danger because he chose to marry her.
Lemme tell you how this chapter irks me so much that i literally can feel hee woon nausea too. The moment that pink hair bitch face's show up, cooking and wearing apron I WANT TO THROW UP. My heartbeat literally went crazy because this is the behaviour i scared the most, BEHAVIOUR THAT U SHOULD HAVE SEEN IN A THRILLER FILM NOT ROMANCE COMEDY. JUST IMAGINE U WENT HOME AND HEAR SOMEONE'S COOKING AND U THOUGHT "oh my husband is cooking lunch now? What a cutie" THEN YOU SAW SOME STRANGER U ONLY MET TWICE AND TALK WITH NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES COOKING WHILE HOLDING A KNIFE IN YOUR MOTHERFUCKIN KITCHEN?!!!
I read "cherry boy that girl" the author's other work and i swear to god i also got this weird mixed feelings about that title too. Like ik its kinda fucked up?? But it goes beyond that and just pretty much disturbing?? Like not kinda scary disturbing but just like 'i see it coming but shit still gets me' disturbing.
